Review:
A very curious and highly enjoyable show. I have never been to a Phish
show
with virtually no crowd energy. There were tables everywhere, so dancing
was restricted to the back and sides of the room. The setting was
extremely
intimate, though, the room being about the size of a postage stamp (well,
OK,
maybe a little bigger). The show was probably just a little under two
hours
and high points are designated with a (!). There was nothing particularly
remarkable about any of the songs, but it was a very solid set. Judging
by the looks that were exchanged by the musico types, I would say that
they
were generally impressed. For Adeline, the band left the stage and stood
on a small table at the front of the room. I found it faintly ironic that
in a city of umpteen zillion people, only 200 got to see the show. There
was virtually no one outside, so I don't think many people knew about it.
