What an incredible show, folks. Very well played..
At 9 and a half minutes, the Tweezer is probably
around average length for 1991, but who the hell
knows. There are snorts in the beginning from Fish,
with an "Ouuu Christopher" from him later on in the
jam. The jamming is very tight, and very melodious,
with no dissonance and no space. Trey really wails
on this one, and Fish ooo's a lot like a choirboy.
After the dying out of the jam, they come back in for
that final lyricless verse and Trey says "That was
great.." It was a very good version, but if Trey
only knew how magnificently these Tweezer jams would
develop over the years.. I can't say it was such a
special version, given what I've heard. It is great,
assuredly, but almost all versions of Tweezer are. I
would have to give this a 5.5 rating (5 being
average), if only because of Fish's speech and Trey's
"That was great.." The jamming, upon reflection
after years of Tweezers, really was a little above
average (ie, very, very good, when compared to other
bands) if that. I'd probably call this the "Ouuu
Christopher" Tweezer, since that was the only
especially meritorious aspect of this version (well,
Trey saying "That was great" was cool, too).. Ok, one
of you must disagree... please elaborate.. (B- rating)
