I think Trey says "Springtime," or something, after
one of the verses in the opening, otherwise, the
opening is straightforward. Beautiful jam in the
opening of the jam segment -- very, very melodic
(albeit simplistic). Unfortunately, though, not much
is built onto this theme (of any merit), and by the 7
min mark, everything is too off-key and disoriented
for my taste. Curiously, though, the jam does get
more intense and focused by the 8-9 min point, but
doesn't sound that great (no presence of theme). No
teases of other tunes, no space. Not a strong
version. The ending is also really drawn out (the
dying out of the jam, return to the Tweezer theme,
segment..). Total time is about 13:35, but 2 minutes
of dying out (Moses does a groovy beat at the very
end for a little bit..). 3.75 (D+)
