Some botched notes in the opening, but not nearly as bad
as 9/9/89. Opening section pretty short.. quick. Not
much exploratory jamming. (not that there usually is)
"Boy" at 5:02. WUDMTF segment standard. Page is very
active in his jam (as usual.. GO PAGE!!). Trey's been
very silent...
At 9:04 Trey breaks out. Page and Trey mimick each
other.. Trey sustains a note for awhile in here, too.
Typically great jamming from everyone. Much more exciting
a jam than the 9/9/89 version... no weird teases, nothing
so awe-inspiring as to warrant further comment.. bass and
drums at 11:04 (not that long of a jam segment, though..)
Bass and drums standard.. except for a few occasional
screams from Trey. At 11:50 WUDMTF closing segment kicks
in, and dissolves into vocal jamming (some nice fills from
Mike in here, though). Vocal jam is your typical
madness.. "Give it up" "Take it.." Total time 14:08, when
Makisupa segues in (Page starts it on piano.. Trey says
"Well, the Authorities have come to turn on the lights."
Page says "The Authorities have come to tell us that there
shall be no beer... in this here... barn." ... fwiw, after
the first "verse", which includes 'Policeman came to my
barn', Trey says "Woke up in the morning. Dioxin on my
head. Woke up in the afternoon. Khadafi in my bed..")
