First set YEM. Opening standard. Nirvana at 1:46.
A few
slipups from trey (subtle) in this opening, though, to be
fair. Mike's solo section around 2:28 is verrrry steady
and sloow.. not nearly as perky and queer as it often can
be. Frankly, pretty damn dull. But oh well. The charge
is kinda sleepy, too.. I don't know about this opening
segment. WHAT THE!! Trey screws up again in the damn
pre-charge, before sustaining the first Note (which kinda
sounds a sciosh out of tune, fwiw). Trey's jamming between
the notes is dull and repetitive, but he wails
majestically on the second Note.. ;) There's hope yet..
"Boy" at 5:08. WUDMTF segment standard. Although there
is clearly a "Wash your feets and" DMTF lyric in here (the
final one). Tramps jam around 7:25..
Tramps jam is straightforward. Nothun next to 11/2.
Jam segment opens up in the vicinity of 9:10, and Trey's
jamming is definitely killer, as is Mike's funking
and Page's accompaniment (Fish is just grooving away, as
usual... no solos.. ;^). WOW!!!! SHORT!!!! Not much
soloing at all. Boy, this is definitely the worst YEM of
the Colorado run so far, hands down. And dammit, this
isn't my opinion.. this here's a fact! ;^)
Bass and drums at 11:11. Nothing special . Closing WUDMTF
segment at 12:05. Yaawn.. vocal jam isn't really that
bad.. I mean, it is typically insane and fun. Doesn't
salvage this easily below average YEM, though. 16:07 total
time. (C-/D+ rating)
